Hey guys! So I am in a battle with anxiety! Imagine crying in bed every day. Imagine you have a family…Little children, and maybe even a significant other. And you are crying in bed, feeling alone! It took me a while to realize that I was not alone. God had never left me. in the last three months I have been in and out of the hospital nearly 10 times scared for my life with my heart beating as if it would explode out of my chest. I’ve got about three x-rays, two full body CAT scans, countless EKGs, and my physical body is healthy! Anxiety suckssssss!! Lol if you need someone to talk to please let me know let’s help one another sharing our thoughts and different coping methods. I still can use some encouragement. I’m looking forward to learning more about this horrible anxiety.. also I am starting a small support group for people who just feel alone with no one to talk to maybe we can hang out and just help each other ! ❤❤ thanks for reading.

Once again we come upon that word 'battle'. To struggle, battle and fight 'IT' will get you nowhere and will simply make matters worse. Now I do know how you feel, honest I do, been there! What you are going through is a pretty awful experience, but you won't always be like it if you go about it in the right way. But it takes time, and patience is not a virtue anyone with anxiety has.
Fist of all give up any form of resistance. Now giving up is NOT giving in, never do that, but giving up the fight and the struggle can work wonders. You have been medically checked out, so you can rest assured it's not a physical problem. Your heart beats fast because your body is in the fight/flight mode. This comes about because of fear. You are frightening yourself by concentrating on symptoms.
The body needs to calm down. Fear is a perfectly normal in certain circumstances. When danger threatens fear makes us prepared to take action. Our body obeys the mind and we get fast heartbeats, panting, trembling, the shakes etc. etc. All symptoms of anxiety and the preparation to run or fight. All that is normal in the circumstances of fear. It's the very normality that we find so hard to accept.
Adding 'second fear' to the fear you already have can only make matters worse. Second fear is all the OMG's and 'what ifs'.
When you feel an anxiety episode coming STOP. Take deep breaths and accept that it is anxiety brought about by the way you think. I am not minimising your suffering in any way. Nothing ever lasts for ever and neither will your anxiety if you accept it all.
