First time posting I've had anxiety, panic attacks, and depression most of my life. Lately I been having some scary things happening that I'm not sure is anxiety or neurological. I can be laying in bed with my eyes still closed not ready to get up and I will feel like my body shifts head too or kinda feels like maybe a sinking dropping feeling. I also at times when my eyes is still closed like they involuntarily move a split sec. I have off balance dizziness for 4 years now audiologist couldn't find the cause. I also at times have weird sensations in my head and body like numbness tingling pressure no headaches.i have bad health anxiety and this may be contributing to these weird bizarre symptoms but I'm not convinced. I've also lately had some sinus thing going on that I'm sure is contributing to the off balance as it's worse lately. And off and on I do have the adrenaline surges in my stomach but not that often. I've been given hydroxyzine and it doesn't help with anything, also I have been having spells of hit burning face and ears and that raises my blood pressure and last hours I can't find a trigger to what brings it on. I'm on blood pressure meds already which I had to increase my dosage yesterday that has made me lightheaded I'm hoping from the increase. I'm constantly worries and scared all day about all this. Can anyone relate to any of this being just anxiety?

Hello. I am experiencing anxiety and neurological symptoms also. It is very difficult to distinguish what is anxiety and what is not anxiety. I would advise you discuss these symptoms with your doctor and follow up with any recommendations. Are you being treated for anxiety? Therapy and journaling are helping me to cope better. I also pray and trying meditation. Anything to take my mind off of my fears. Hope this helps.

I have discussed my symptoms over and over with my no longer Dr I got nowhere was told it's all anxiety without making sure. So I'm Dr hunting to find someone that will take me seriously and look past the fact I have anxiety and panic attacks. I know my body and I've had anxiety my whole life and never has it made me have 24/7 symptoms that never goes away. I also think my blood pressure pill maybe having something to do with all this bizarre symptoms seems they started when I started taking this med 4 years ago.

Hi - Completely understand you’re problem with the GP Anglfrmhvn69. Had a GP doctor once where I went in for a bad pain in my shoulder which was caused by pulling on the chainsaw rope too hard (turned out be be a torn rotator cuff). Was not an anxiety issue this time. I had gone to him many times, mostly for things cropping up from anxiety. He said “you know, you could cancer in that shoulder”. I knew that was BS and that he was needling me from my previous anxiety related issues. He simply didn’t understand health anxiety and was fed up with my continual visits. The fact is, we’re paying them, anxiety related issue or not, to get an honest assessment of what the problem. Don’t need a condescending doctor. Glad you dumped that doctor. Hope you find one who cares. I did and that’s how I found that my cuff was torn and needed surgery.

Exactly we are paying them whether we have anxiety or not, thing is my anxiety has never gotten to the point I couldn't control it. Then all these bizarre symptoms start popping up that I knew wasn't normal even with anxiety dizziness doesn't last 24/7 no breaks at all. But I have gotten to where I've been tormented by the dizziness the rest I can tolerate that it is mentally effecting me

Angl, keep looking for a good doc! The worthwhile ones know anxiety is treatable, and in the past 15-20 years in particular they've made great strides. I just recently had about a 5 year period without a constant daily battle with anxiety. Its come back a bit now, but I know the things that work for me. One of them is contributing to message boards like this!
