Hello ;)

Im new to this forum. But i have suffered for 3 years after my first daughter was born. I have thought ive had so many different cancers.

I have daily head pressure atm and when i bend down i get pressure in my ears. When i cough i get a headache for a few seconds same as laugh and strain. Ive had a CT SCAN on my sinuses and they were fine. Also 2 weeks ago had an MRI of the brain which also was clear.
I had a baby 6 months ago and my health anxiety is as worse as ever.
Im terrified the doctors are missing something with my head.
I get neck pain and ear pain on the right side and i have TMJ also.
Im just wondering if anybody else has experienced the same symptoms i guess.

I get it all the time. Its tension headaches. Feels like your heads full of air. The pressure all comes from tense muscles. Your jaw is clenching causing tmj and that causes ear pressure. Your neck muscles cause head pressure.

After sitting for periods of time I get up or out of a car and I get a rush of head pressure, whooshing sounds in my ears pressure in my ears pressure in my face, throbbing. I've yet to find someone with the same effect to have an answer.

Thought I would just add my sixpence, in case it helps.

I started having headaches, almost daily, since August of this year.

As someone who never gets headaches, I was surprised when they lasted the week.

They then went on for a month and I rang my doctor, who asked me to go for a brain scan at my local hospital (cannot tell you how ill I felt, hearing that news!).

I went to A&E and a professional gave me a proper once over - he was so sure that there was nothing wrong with me, that he advised against a scan. He could tell that I was really struggling with anxiety (i.e. keep worrying about the headaches) and suggested that if I calmed down, they would go away.

The headaches continued for another month and I went back to A&E, where another doctor did another exam and reached the same conclusion - anxiety was causing the headaches.

I still would not believe them and was convinced that they had missed something.

I decided to organise a private (and not cheap) MRI scan, which came back clear - I got the results and and had a bit of cry, which did make my headache a bit worse.

The next morning, I woke with no headache and have had none since.

After so many months of suffering similar headaches to yours, it seems that my constant worry (and Googling symptoms, which is a terrible terrible idea) was causing the headaches. The experts were right but I couldn't bring myself to listen to them, worrying that I was the one person that had somehow slipped through the net with something serious.

As mentioned above, anxiety causes a hell of a lot of symptoms and leads to a vicious cycle as you do not know what is causing what.

I find press the neck muscle from the base of the skull. It releases the knots and goes help.
