Since I went to my gyn complaining about pain and he couldn't find a probable source, he's sending me for more thorough ultrasounds. Abdominal, pelvic and transvaginal. Ultrasounds at imaging centers take FOREVER. That's gonna be a long morning of me trying to not guess what the tech is thinking. One of the things I hate most about adulthood is having to go to these appointments alone, haha. It makes me so much less nervous when someone goes with me, dunno why.

Thanks! It went fine I guess? I've had a ton of ultrasounds before so it was nothing new, just anxious while I was there for fear of the dreaded "I need to go get the radiologist" scenario or her saying something that gave away bad news. But that didn't happen (I did think I saw something "bad" on the screen but I'm thinking/hoping my mind is playing tricks on me). I DID end up drinking 32 ounces of water and holding my bladder for what ended up being no reason at all, but at least I started my day off with proper hydration?

Magical thinking when we think we see something troubling on an ultrasound or other scan. We havent any idea what we are looking at unless we are medically trained.
