My sinuses are out of control. Face Pressure which has also affected my neck pain! So here is my anxious question... do they take your blood pressure at an ENT? Because that freaks me out... lately anyway!

Hi TLC. Sure sorry those sinuses haven't eased up yet. Sorry, but they'll take your blood pressure at any medical appointment. You could ask them not to and I would hope they would respect that. How soon are you able to see the ENT?

Tomorrow. I’m certain the sinuses have caused my anxiety. I’ve never felt like this. White coat syndrome!

Tlc, i can sympathize. I have the "white coat syndrome" as well. I have never asked to not have my bp taken, but i would imagine, as Tri has stated that they should respect that request in your situation. Hell, i even have my dentist take my bp when i go in, never understood that one! In your situation, they may have to see your bp in order to perscribe the right meds for your sinus issue. I seem to remember having to take certain nasal meds since im on bp meds. Hopefully u will be able to get that sinus problem fixed...from experience, i know it sucks! Take care and let us know :)

Hey - just wondering how you're doing, TLC?
Thanks for asking! Not that good, the sinus issue seems to have calmed down then I got food poisoning or a bug and ended up in the ER Wednesday morning! Just when I thought I was starting to see the clear! Now mylanta and othe meds are my friends! Awesome. How are you doing my friend?

Hi TLC. Sure glad your long term ailment has cleared up. That was such a miserable road you were on. This temporary ailment, also miserable, you at least know will be over soon. Wishing you a speedy recovery. My wife just got over three days of the flu and while watching her I assumed I was next. I guess we're not as close as we thought cause I'm still flu-free.

So I guess that's good news and bad news, huh? So glad the sinus stuff is calming down, but sorry you got the montezuma's revenge. :( There are some NASTY flu germs going around my town right now - I'm just hoping and praying that I don't get one of them, but what can we do, right? I bet your body is just so worn out from all of this. Just keep telling yourself that spring is coming, and it will be sunny and better soon. You have come through this like a champ so far, and hopefully it's almost over for you. I know the stomach stuff is just the worst because it throws off your whole body chemistry...hang in there!
