that isn't very active anymore. I'm suffering a lot of hypochondria even though my doctors tell me I'm fine.

I’ve researched it only. You should research it thoroughly before considering it. It looked to me like it requires multiple treatments and the effects wear off. Consider researching acceptance therapy created by Dr Clair Weeks. It has done more for me than any meds I’ve taken.

I decided not to because of the hallucinations. Nothing has worked so far. I am kind of resigned to being depressed at this point.

There are many many resources out there for help with anxiety and depression . Sooo many . You just have to take the step forward and reach out for help . And also seriuosly try that book that MATD is talking about . I started reading it and it is giving me hope . I'll probably have to read it again tho to absorb it all lol. Really , find what works for you and follow thru .

I felt the same way too. But I found Dr Claire Weekes acceptance method and applied it. It is not a magic pill, it requires work on my part, but it works. I’ve had a & d my whole life. Let me tell you, I was desperate. That’s why I researched ketamine myself. I was looking for relief, willing to do just about anything to be well again. We cause our own problem with our thinking. Contrary to popular belief, anxiety and depression are mostly a result of our thinking, our lack of confidence and knowledge. We didn’t develop coping skills as we grew up and our environment didn’t help much either. The further I get into recovery, the more sure I am of this. But I now know it’s possible to recover.
