I wanted to see how all of you felt about using Fish Oil as part of your daily vitamins?
I've read up online a lot about how they help with anxiety/nervous system/depression.

I've been taking them for a year or so and found them to be of benefit but wanted to get all of your opinions on it too...

Rikr, how did fish oil make you like that?
I've talked to multiple Dr's about fish oil and they've got nothing but positives about taking fish oil. I'd like to hear more though...
look up the benefits of fish oil and you'll see some good ones in the list...

First of all you can not squeeze a fish and get oil - it requires solivents and the ones used are neurotoxic. The fats in a fish go rancid immediately when the fish dies - this requires more chemicals they are not required to list.

Omega 3's can increase brain metabolism and if you have skewed neurochemistry it can make it worse

I read that magnesium and GABA with L-Theanine & potassium were supposed to help. My dietary intake doesn't really get me enough of such things so, I supplement those. It's helped. I use essential oils in my Scentsy wax for aroma therapy. There is also a Lipton's Stress Tea with cinnamon, chamomile and lavender I'm going to try. I haven't noticed that fish oil does anything for me personally.

I take fish oil but only because of a different reason --not for anxiety.
It has blood thinning properties so you should probably ask your doctor prior to loading up on too much of it.
