My husband took me to get my 2nd dose of my covid vaccine. Today my arm is pretty sore and I am tired. Unfortunately my anxiety is making me worry about all the side effects. Biggest fear of course is dying or having a heart issue. I know these are not really even issues, but you know how our anxiety makes us believe these things. Please give me encouraging and positive covid vaccine stories.

Sore arm is extremely common, at least among people I know who are fully vaccinated. Tiredness is pretty common as well, I think. I also know several people who felt generally under the weather for about 12 hours, shortly after the second shot. Nothing to worry about, just a normal and harmless side effect. Good for you! I hope you feel well soon.

I got my Phizer booster shot Dec 23rd, I ended up with a low grade fever and body aches that lasted around 24 hours. You'll be fine hang in there. "plus a sore arm" I tell ya the guy that gave me the shot tried to hurt me I have never had a shot that painful before. I barely even felt the other vaccines.

My entire family, including my 5 and 7 year old have had both shots, plus boosters for me and my wife. Just sore arms and fatigue for us, kids never slowed down for a minute. The heart inflammation you hear about is well under 1% and is mild. Much more likely to get heart inflammation from covid then the shot.
