You said it yourself. You think the worst and then the anxiety gets worse. That is how it works. All about distraction. Trying to break the thought process. You have been through this before. You are still alive and well. Tell yourself that. At most it might have made you feel bad for a while. But you always got over it. Which is what you will do this time as well.

Yes, absolutely! I think many people who suffer from anxiety have been through the exact same thing. That's the vicious cycle...your fear of the symptoms makes them worse, which exacerbates the fear, which exacerbates the symptoms and so on...
Just know: you're not in any danger. The sensations you feel are nothing more than products of an anxious mind. You don't have to ignore the symptoms - just acknowledge that they are there, remind yourself that it's just anxiety, and engage your mind on a task. Talk to friends and family if you can/if you feel comfortable doing so. You'll find that when you're engaged with something that takes all of your attention, you won't notice these symptoms. It won't be easy and it will take time, but you are more than capable of doing this!
Hope you start to feel better soon!

I had some chest pains a few times last year.

I talked to my doctor about it. And I haven't had a problem since then.

I was worried about it enough to talk to my doctor about it, which was good. However, I was calm enough about it to not panic, which was also good.

It's like a pain I M your chest you can't not control. For me my anxiety is like a grenade. Its starts with the fuse which is the anxiety. Then it explodes into either anger, frustration, depression, and sometimes suicidal thoughts and just thinking about it makes me want to even vomit or just crawl up and die. If I'm stressed out I just stop what am I doing if appropriate. Find somthing I enjoy and relax and forget about it for now. Not the best advice but it's all I cane say given my experience. I just started therapy and its bot a significant change yet but time will tell. So focus on the stuff you like and if you get to that point. Talk to some one, it lessens the burden a bit.

It's scary, but I sometimes get this too. Best thing to do is try to find a distraction..or do something that relaxes you. Sometimes talking to a friend in person can help.

Hi Ebbie. It's just because you have nobody to share anything. Try to keep busy yourself. Try to entertain yourself. Now it totally depends on you. If you will try to feel scary it can be worse. If you will ignore you will get relief of it.
