Hey everyone. I'm wondering what breathing exercises work to relieve your shortness of breath. I've been experiencing a perceived shortness of breath for a couple of days, intermittently. I feel like I'm not getting quite enough air, so I start feeling anxious.
Truth is, I can take a deep breath just fine, which is why I say it's only perceived. It's not shortness of breath like one may experience with intense exercise or similar. Just a nagging, unsatisfied feeling in my lungs. I also began experiencing a mild panic attack this evening, which didn't help, but I think it's gone now.
I've tried the typical "take a deep breath, hold it, exhale, repeat". It doesn't make matters worse, but it really doesn't help a ton either. So I'm wondering what breathing exercises you all use and have success with.
Thanks in advance.
