Dry throat?

So I noticed I've been having a dry throat for a couple of hours. I'm not super dehydrated but I could stand to drink much more water than I do. I drank maybe equivalent to three cups today total plus some sweet tea. It just feels dry and I don't knoe why. I don't wanna go to Dr. Google or else I'm just going to worry immensely. Also the top of my neck feels tight. Why could this be, or has anyone else experienced this?

Not sure if you wear a face mask during the day? I find those things dry my throat out big time. I hate wearing them. I do tend to drink a lot of water as a result. other things that can cause a dry throat is heat on in the house. Even dust in the house. Little simple things.

I experience it a lot Grace, it's a very common thing. Don't google it, you will only unnecessarily worry yourself.

Mine is because of dry air here and air particles that irritate my throat.
Also, I have postnasal drip, most of my irritation comes from that. You may have allergies or a random irritation that you don't notice.
Give it some time, it will probably go away. A couple of hrs of dryness/irritation doesn't indicate anything.

I’m actually going through the same. I feel like I pass saliva but at the same time, my throat feels dry towards the back of the throat. It’s hard to describe.
