I get a panic attack every time it's snowing and I know I need to go anywhere. I am afraid of getting into an accident.. or getting stuck and having to stay there until help arrives.. how am I supposed to get to work during winter when the thought of driving in snow already makes me tremble. Also, I drive a car that's very low to the ground and can't afford any suv/truck...

The very propect of hitting black ice is a scary thing and if your anxious you should try not to go anywhere anyway. Just stay home and enjoy the beautiful snow. And if your location is within walking distance. ... great. Walk there. You'll enjoy it.

Hi maybe invest in snow chains for your tyres might be a good idea. Also always think about your safety. If you are to scared on the road, you are more likely to make mistakes.

Or you could have some special training at a driving school for driving in the ice and snow. It was very bad weather when I was learning and my instructor thought I would cancel the lesson but I said it would be best to have the instruction.
