A couple incidents...i was away and my wife took my elderly dog out who is falling often...she mentioned she saw drops of blood, i wondered if he got attacked my a rapid animal, however no wounds on him were found

Today i was demo a shed and usually there is an animal underneath when i take sheds down , today there was an opposum. I know there are very unlikely to carry rabies, however what if I touched something they dropped etc

Now i know both cases are not true

The point im making is this crosses my mind but has not caused me to have terrible worry.

Could i actually be improving?

Yep. You are starting to let your brain think rationally instead of falling into total freak out. That doesn't mean you won't still have bad days. But it is the beginning of peace more often. :)
