Dental extraction in a week, abscessed gum, will I make it?

Are you experiencing pain?
At the moment, no, just if I mess with the gumboil. I'm thinking I'll survive until I get it sorted. I let my anxiety get the best of me as it always does. It just had to pick the worst time during a pandemic to flare up

Update time: Gumboil is still here, which I assume is good. I got 3-4 more days until I say good riddance to the tooth. I'm getting more and more nervous, my stomach's in knots because I haven't eaten much since.

I originally was feeling okay until I went Googling (I know, terrible habit, I need to stop) and someone told their story of the anesthetic not working during an infected tooth extraction and thus was in excruciating pain the whole time. I'm also afraid that they won't operate on me because of my boil. Part of me thinks my situation is unique because I can't find anyone who had a similar experience but people get wisdom teeth taken out all the time. It's two strains of the same beast I know

Don't be nervous. I had 2 done last month. Afterwards you'll go I was nervous for this? It's totally different than wisdom teeth. Wisdom teeth most of the time don't yet erupt when they have to go to surgery to get them out. A tooth extraction is a lot different

Even an abscessed tooth? I keep hearing conflicting stories about them being a walk in the park and then Hell on earth

Okay so I have to have two done in the past month. One was abscessed. The extraction was no different
But I have had so much mouth pain with bad teeth that it's a relief to get them out I will take that discomfort any day over tooth pain
