Some people find some situations awkward. They are not relaxed in those situations. All about learning. Then practice. I used to hate been around people. I simply began to do things in my own way and at my own pace. I slowed everything right down. Didn't try to rush anything. That was always the main problem. Rushing everything. To get out of the situation. Be done with it. Get it over as quickly as possible. When we do that we trip and we stumble. Nothing seems to work out right. Just slow everything right down. Try and relax. Do everything at your own pace.

Oh yeah. I have experienced this most of my life! Lol. I always, always find one on one time with a new person awkward. The silences are awkward, the entire experience. This is why I never have made friends that are closed and don’t have any except my fiancé now.
Props to you for looking on YouTube and taking action though! That’s all you can do is research the subject and try to realize most everyone finds small talk and certain situations awkward, so usually others are feeling the same as you!
