I have suffered severe anxiety all my life (I'm now 64) and now have GAD with Depression, currently being treated by my psychiatrist using Pregabalin and recently added sertraline. Since the middle of 2019, I've had severe sciatica, finally treated using spinal injections, then in Dec. I had a bladder infection, which went into my kidneys, causing sepsis. The kidney problem had just cleared up when COVID 19 appeared and since both my husband and I are in high risk groups, due to health conditions and being in our mid-late 60s, I am constantly worried we may catch it and die. Also, 2 weeks ago I had a dental abscess, treated with antibiotics, but my gums are still inlflemed and intermittently very sore. and now I'm worried I may have another bladder infection, as I have some symptoms. I am concerned I have developed health anxiety, due to having had so many problems with different illnesses over the past 6 months, and if so, what if any is the recommended treatment (psychological).

Personally, I went to my family doctor first, and then she wrote for my meds and therapy. She actually still prescribes my meds for me and I don’t go to therapy anymore.
Good luck! Praying you get everything figured out soon!
