So I had a big cup of iced coffee today and that was a mistake. Now my anxiety is super high, and I feel like I’m going to die or get hurt and I feel like my fiancé is dead because he’s not responding to my texts.

I can relate, i don't like drinking coffee anymore because it has a weird effect on my body. Now I just try to avoid it because it really does not help anxiety :/

For us with anxiety it's very important to watch what stimulents we use.
I have given up all soda and only drink water mixed with 1 vitamin water per day.

I've never had anxiety issues due to drinking coffee before because I don't like the taste of coffee. Hence, I've consumed very little of it in my lifetime.

I think it's just as well that I don't like coffee. I want to stay calm, after all.

Yep. I get anxiety from drinking small sips of coke at this point. Any caffeine triggers my anxiety. It sucks but has caused me to lose weight.

I was at that point a while back. Unfortunately I slipped back into regular caffeine consumption, so I need to work on that again. I actually noticed several positive changes, including increased natural energy, when I cut most of it out. Like you, just a few sips of a caffeinated beverage would cause anxiety. Now it easily takes three or more whole cups before I feel anything.

ugh same here. I haven't been drinking it much lately because I've been so incredibly anxious, but I woke up feeling pretty good today.. Had only half a cup and it was still a mistake.

Years ago when had bad anxieties, I stopped drinking Mountain Dew soda, which is loaded with caffeine, for a while, in order to try to calm down.

Unfortunately for me, it made no difference for me back then.
