I hope so. I think all you need to do is work out your diet. What you eat will determine how you deal with this disease.

Try to go gluten free. Gluten cause inflammation. And so does dairy and spicy foods . Just keep taking your steroids. And things will get a little better.

My husband has severe UC (very similar) . At one point he was in the hospital for two weeks and almost died. He's been battling with this for 10 years and 5 years ago he finally found what put him in remission. Idk if I will get in trouble for saying it on here but it's green and it grows and frowned upon by many people. Also illegal in most places. But he uses it anyway. He has tried many other meds to no avail such as strong steroids(that gave him osteoporosis) remicade, humira, asacol, and quite a few others

Also be sure to avoid nuts seeds and dairy

This is true, and also of coffee and caffeine products which include chocolate believe it or not. I had a bad tummy one time, and my ex-hubs gave me a strong coffee to drink. Well, you can imagine how an already spurty bowel :eek:became even more spurty :eek:and hurty too! :DDo a bit of research or see a nutritionist and once you have your diet sorted out, you will be feeling a lot better.

Just think how many conditions and diseases could be cured if every state in the U.S. legalized cannabis. It's a shame that Big Pharma is trying to take over Cannabis distribution and production. Only a few states allow it to be legalized for medical and recreational use. No wonder why so many people move...they have no choice if they want to use that for treatment. Anyway, I'm glad it helps your husband's UC. I have IBS and know it would help me tremendously. But I can't get access to it according to my state's guidelines. I have to have less than one year to live to gain access to it. Isn't that ridiculous? And then, if you improve while taking it, my state cuts off your access to it, so you can't get it anymore. Horrible.

And just think as well if the governments of the world stop putting fluoride in the water. Fluoride causes cancer, depression, dementia as well as a host of other fatal ailments. What it does not do, however, is help with cavities!:D It's like saying to someone to drink some hair dye to turn the hair a different colour.
