I hate going on tiktok and then getting triggered. I have hypochondria and I came across a post about a girls fear. No tw obviously. They're so bad about that as far as hypocondria goes because I guess they don't see it as a real and seperate thing. Basically she said that she's afraid of going to sleep because sleepiness is a symptom of carbon monoxide poisoning and she said that's the first symptom and that you can sleep and not wake up because of that. Now I'm afraid because I got a small wave of heaviness over my eyes and like what if I die. I don't even know if I have sensors in my house. I can't keep the windows open because my neighborhood isn't trustworthy. Gosh this fear is gonna plague me for a while remembering how undetectable it it. Now whenever I feel sleepiness at night I'll think its that.

You really need to stay off this TikTok thing. Not doing you any good at all. Gives you a new fear every day of the week. if it makes you feel better buy an alarm or two for around the house. We have had them for years and they have never gone off. If you have heating in your house you are meant to have one anyway. Very rare that this type of thing actually happens.

Do you have natural gas heat, or fuel burning sources (e.g. gas stove)? If so, all you need is a couple of CO detectors, as Cuchculan mentioned. If not, you probably don't need to worry at all, as electric heaters and such pose no risk of carbon monoxide poisoning.

Also, I agree, stay off TikTok if it's causing this much trouble for you.
