Probably something you've been eating or drinking recently(?) Orange juice, tomatoes, etc. I used to get 'em a lot as a kid. Drinking a lot of lemonade & orange juice. I basically never get 'em anymore.
If it's worrisome, have your doctor look at them..

Yes. I get them during times of stress. I have 2 right now on the top of my tongue.

My daughter was prone to them as a teenager. Cold sores are usually on the outside of the mouth while canker sores usually occur inside the mouth. You should consult your doc for more information and treatment. If I remember correctly, the doc prescribed a med for my daughter which helped them clear up quickly.

I get sores on the sides of my tongue. Took me years to figure out I was allergic to cinnamon.
