Burned my Ramen cup, worried about the fumes.

I made a genius move today, I went to make a cup of Ramen. You know the kind in the Styrofoam and plastic cups? Well I forgot to put water in it before I microwaved it. Next thing I know it's rolling thick white brownish smoke through the kitchen and the whole house smells like burnt popcorn and vague chemicals.

So did I guarantee myself some sort of exotic cancer down the road from this exposure? Anyone else ever do this?

I can't count the number of times I burned styrofoam, plastic and many other things when I was younger. Whether on purpose or by mistake. No cause for concern, IMO.

So no worries about the fumes causing brain damage? Has the smell ever given you a light head ache?

If you think you might have given yourself cancer because you inhaled some smoke from a burning piece of styrofoam, you should get some HA therapy.
