Hi Everyone.. new to this and just thought I'd share what's going on with me currently in the hope of calming my anxiety.

First off, I am a SERIOUS worrier. My mind will turn the slightest feeling in my body to a life threatening condition!

Current worry is that over the weekend I noticed a small hard lump in my leg where I'd previously had a large bruise.. the bruise is almost completely gone and until the weekend i hadnt paid enough attention to my leg to notice is lump.

Now ever since discovering it, it feels inflamed, slightly swollen and just not right at all so ultimately I'm telling myself blood clot. Looking at it, it does look slightly bigger than my other leg and feels bigger.

I'm super aware of it because it's all I've been thinking about for 3 days!! So anyone else ever had anything like this?

Blood clots typically cause the leg to swell, and is warm or hot to the touch. It will look discolored, reddish or purple and can cause a Charlie horse type feeling. Rest, ice or heat will not work to make it feel better. I hope that this description helps you!!

Im 42 and had 2 blood clots in legs and 2 in lungs. In leg it felt like I pulled a muscle and got worse. It felt hot and hard. There was a bruise. That was my first one. My second one felt about same and they said at first it was superficial then it traveled to lungs. So when in doubt have it looked at Id say. Especially if it gets worse. Not trying to worry u more. Ive had plenty of bruises be nothing.
