My 2 favorite TV shows to binge are True Blood and American horror story, I've watched every episode of each now so I'm on the hunt for a new one, I just started watching this show called YES on Netflix, it seems pretty sweet so far.
Because of my work schedule, I missed the first season of Young Sheldon.. so I'm binge watching it on DVD now..
It's funny & light-hearted.. and I think does a good job recreating a small town, late-8os childhood.
I'm currently watching the original 1978' Battlestar Galactica. Library near my house has the entire series on a DVD set.. I've watched most of 'em over the years in reruns & syndication. But it's still a cool nostalgia trip.
Okay, new thread - what TV shows would you recommend for when someone is struggling with anxiety? For example, I remember having a hard time once, and a friend told me to watch Unbreakable Kimmy Schmidt on Netflix. It was so ridiculous that it cheered me up quite a bit. I need something to binge over the next few days...
ok...i havent been on here in some time..but this is one that i can put my two cents on. greys anatomy, House, and 90 day fiance lol! the last one just cracks me up! the others are doctor shows that i like to watch becuz i have strange symptoms and so do the other ppl on those shows. idk?? it makes me feel better. good luck to you all. whatever can help a little....is worth watching
I tend to go for things they moan about on the radio over here. They might mention a sitcom and ask if you would let your son or daughter watch it because of what it is about. That normally means I have to watch it. Just to see what all the hype is about. Most times it is just silly people giving out about things that most of us would not find hard to watch. It is the content they are moaning about. I know 13 reasons why was for teens. That got a lot of negative radio time over here. People moaning about it. Saying it is not right for teens to be watching such a sitcom. Bloody debate went on for days. Hearing such a debate has never made me say ' I must not watch that '. It works the other way. You are wondering why they are all giving out about it. I mean it did deal with some serious teen issues. Stuff that is happening more and more in real life. If anything it raised awareness of what was going out there. But it was a teen thing. And I am far from a teen. But tell me not to watch it and I will watch it. One I love from the US is ' Curb your enthusiasm ' More my sort of show. Not a big TV watcher at all. But that one show used to have me fallen about the place laughing. Take everything that is PC in the world today and just throw it out the window. That was how that show worked.
