HELLO THERE! 26 years old here.
Last week while adjusting my hair I noticed my left mastoid process bone is a lot larger and more pointy and my right one is smooth. Is this normal? Anyone else have this problem?
Since then; I can’t stop touching it and comparing both and everyone I see, I look at their ears and nobody else seems to have this problem.
Health anxiety is already awful. Now imagine having this problem. I’m a wreck. Anyone else relate?? Have a doctors appointment 4 weeks from now; which I am dreading. I feel like I’m feeding my HA like this. Anyone else have different size mastoid bones? Trying to stay calm until my apt date and if other people relate and it’s “normal” i’ll be able to ease my nerves.

There's a lymph node right there. Once I had a node on my right side blow up for no apparent reason. I remember being scared about it too, but the doc told me all was well and it eventually went down, after maybe one or two months. Try not to worry! Hugs.

I think this is normal., if we look at our faces carefully, one eye is smaller than the other. Its normal, you are human. You might even be wrong, it might be arm length or it could be head shape that contributes to this theory.
