So last night I was having horrible anxiety because I was thinking to much about all the things going on with me, I was shaking most the night. Then all of sudden my right hand got really hot! I freaked out of course and thought it has to be a blood flow issue! About a hour later it had already stopped but my left hand did it to! Then went away little while later. Really has me worried! I don't need anything else stressing me out! Already have a lump in throat all the time!

I get it across my chest and/or shoulders. Sometimes other places but it's normal for me with my anxiety.

Oh yes! They say there is nothing new under the sun and that is true of anxiety. I am still surprised by new symptoms that occur even though I was counselling for many years. Everyone is different. That's why it is wrong to compare ourselves with others who have similar symptoms. Trembling, shaking are all common symtoms of anxiety and are harmless. But telling ourselves that in the middle of the night is not easy. A lump in the throat. Once again very common. All these symptoms are made worse by adding fear to fear. The 'what if's' come and we begin the fear/anxiety/ fear cycle.
Acceptance is still the answer. Let it all come and see it for what it is. Can you see that by adding more fear to the fear that is already there you stoke the fire of anxiety?
