so I did something that was sort of dumb...my cat was lying on his back stretched out across my bed, there was no room for my legs so i pressed them right over my cat's stomach. it wasn't for long, maybe a few seconds, and he wriggled out from under me and went to go sit somewhere else. he doesnt seem to be in pain and he licked himself then fell off to sleep again. I'm just terrified I've crushed his organs :( he didn't yelp in pain or anything, plus my legs are really skinny, but what if the weight of them against his stomach caused damage???

The cat is fine. Have seen a few over the years have hard falls and get up and carry on like nothing happened at all. They may look soft and fluffy but they are harder than they look. Don't worry yourself over this at all. The cat is fine.

Cats are small in size, but not so small that they can't deal with something like what you described, Larii.

Yeah..I'm just scared because sometimes trauma to a cat's body can cause fluid in the lungs. He seems to be fine but I'm still worried :banghead:

Cats are tough little creatures. I once had a cat that would routinely rip a screen in the window and jump 2 stories down to get out with her friends. Never was injured. I am sure your cat is fine.
