Ughhhh, does anyone else experience this? I generally have health anxiety, but sometimes when it's not there or after I use my therapy techniques to manage it, I'll still have this lingering fear that I can't get rid of! Like the feeling in the pit of your stomach like you just heard bad news, or as if you're nervous for an upcoming presentation... except there's no bad news and no presentation. I can manage other physical symptoms through breathing techniques and grounding, but the fearful feeling never seems to fully disappear.
I guess that's the defining characteristic of an anxiety disorder (fear for no reason), it's just the physical feeling makes it so difficult for me to concentrate on anything else, even if mentally I'm not actually fearful of any diseases in the moment! If anyone has any tips or can relate, I'd love to hear your thoughts.
