So I thought I was doing better as the bruise on my hand finally went away. Well yesterday I noticed I look more pale than normal. Today I noticed it again as well as another bruise on my lower stomach. I’m a bigger girl and normally don’t check myself down there but I noticed it when I was passing a mirror. It’s small, no bigger than 2 fingertips put together, but it’s there. It’s also yellow/green which I think means it’s been there a while.
Well, I tried not to let myself freak out but I’m also suffering from a headache that I’ve had since last night and not only that but I slept AT LEAST 12 hours because of it. I’m just a mess. No health insurance and now this happens??? I don’t want leukemia. I’m honestly terrified.

people get bruises. many times, they're caused by such light, incidental contact that you'd never be able to figure out what you did to cause them.

I bruised the entire tip of my nose popping a zit once. i looked like I'd been punched in the face. another time i actually went to the ER because i had a BLACK bruise the size of a coke can on my hip and i couldn't think of anything i could have done to cause it. the doc looked at me like i was nuts for getting it looked at. i thought for sure i had internal bleeding or something. nope.

Yep, agree completely. Bruising is generally nothing to think twice about. The only way to rule anything out with any certainty is to see a doc, but IMO that isn't even necessary here.

If you're in the states just go to the ER
Even without medical insurance they have to see you.
They will draw blood and you'll have some form of knowledge of what is going on.
If you can try to apply for medicade if your household income is low.

I am so sorry you are going through this, is there any way you can check it at the docs? Just to relieve yourself of tension and anxiety..
As far as the bigger girl problems, I often get it on stomach, it happens from tight jeans, or belt, or sometimes when I bloat on PMS, my skin tends to bruise.
Maybe you are a little anemic, that tends to cause bruising to. Can you include a little fresh fruits and veggies?
I am full of bruises all the time, 32 yrs of bruises, If I scratch I bruise, a little heavier bag on my shoulder - bruise, someone breathes close to me I bruise.
