    Sleep/Insomnia

Anyone here dealing with issues falling/staying asleep at night? Seems like when this happens, I'll be exhausted all day of course and will get the anxiety... ie rapid heartrate, excessive urinating... no appetite, fatigue, irritable towards others... Can anyone else here relate?

    No Sleep = Anxiety

I have personally found that when I don't get a good nights rest that I experience anxiety the next day or at least am more susceptible to having symptoms pop up. On days when I get a good nights sleep I can cope with things a little better... sure as the day grows older I get tired/fatigued...

    Travel Anxiety

So I was feeling pretty good this weekend and so my wife and I decided to book a flight across the country to visit relatives. I've done the trip about 10 times in the past 7 years but the last couple of times I'd experienced anticipatory anxiety just days before the flight (ie unable to eat...

    Terrified of Concussion

So, about five days ago I hit my the back of head on a metal bookshelf, and since then I seem to be obsessing about “symptoms” that make me terrified I’m dying of an undetected concussion. Nervous Stomach

Hi, I've never posted in one of these forums before, but I can't seem to find an answer to this. I have suffered from anxiety since I was very young. However, over the past few years I have been working on controlling my anxious thoughts using mindfulness techniques, and have seen an...

    Excitement causing anxiety

So I recently just designed a blog and opened it up to the public. I am super excited as I have always wanted to do something like this. Writing is my passion and I am trying to make it more of a priority in my life. I have gotten to the point where I normally have a pretty good handle on my...

Insomnia in Young People Associated with Later Dementia

I've seen studies throughout the years about bad sleep patterns and REM affecting the brain leading to dementia. This has me freaked out, my 90 year grandfathre died of Dementia. I'm 35 and I've been waking up early for years (4am-530am) without falling back asleep on 4-5 hours of sleep. Can...

    New Drapes

I've mentioned before that I have insomnia and that the neighbors' (both sides) dogs often keep me awake, or wake me up mid-sleep and early morning. I invested in a set of insulated drapes for the bedroom, and hung them the other day. They were purchased primarily to cut down on the cold and...
