Somedays, I really don't know why I'm here and then on top of that, at 28 years old, I'm starting to see more and more how depressing adulthood and motherhood can be, especially when you don't have a good support system. There's a few things that make life worthwhile. For me, it's little things like the sunset in the summer, fall weather, being out in nature, music, the few friends I do have, and my favorite food and shows.

What are the things that give you a glimmer of hope even when you're depressed?

Coffee…especially the first cup. I am barely functional as it is but without coffee…I’d be even worse. Plus, the taste and smell is comforting to me.

There is a city a few hours away I have visited numerous times and really like the energy, people and places. It is possible I will be going there soon…hanging on to that hope. And as bad as I am now, I still have at least a tiny piece of hope that I can someday move there.

Personally I don't have any stake or use in hope but the only thing that is keeping me going is my hobbies and my stubbornness. Tho I am trying to regain it.
