What do you do when you’re super stressed? I swear my mental health is declining . Im starting to not trust my own eyes.... it only makes my anxiety worse and it was brought on by some work related stress... I’ve always had anxiety but going this long without a break (or a trip because of the virus) has left me with no real way to decompress. My body is fatigued but my heart is racing and my stomachs in knots... i hate this.

That's how I was feeling for the last couple of days it's easing up a bit now "knock on wood". All I can suggest is do something that you enjoy maybe play a old video game that you enjoyed playing when you were younger. Drink some relaxing teas if you like tea, take a bath with a candlelit and the light off, eat a healthy dinner. What I did was exercised hard, drink a lot of water and I've been eating healthy all day trying to think positive thoughts. Sometimes anxiety can feel like it's got a grip on you and it's just ringing the life out of you, it's such a horrible feeling. Hang in there it'll ease up.

I go through spells where I don’t think I’ll make it and then other times that I forget about all of my worries. Those times that it’s really bad, I come on here and try to help people who are struggling with some of the same issues. Living with anxiety can be a really lonely place, so it’s good to be able to have a place you can go where people understand.

Hello! It really is an awful feeling. I find my self dissociating, or leaving my body on autopilot while my brain wanders, obsessive thoughts have been taking me over lately and it’s like a constant battle to bring myself down to Earth again. I feel like I need a Month long break to just reset and relax. It’s sad when this takes you over. I feel like I’m losing myself :(

It is hard for a lot of people right now because of the virus. I am essentially getting myself through on the thought that eventually this will end and things will go back to normal. Also, as far as losing yourself goes, I've gone through periods where I literally felt like my life was a movie and I was just getting caught in the motions. It is good to give yourself some variety in your routine. Try going for a walk and consciously appreciating everything going on in nature. Or, think about how your food tastes, what your house looks like, the pattern on your shirt. Try to notice details you have just glazed over before. This really helped me to find myself again. :)

I felt the same way a couple of days ago. I decided to go wash my Jeep, then I came home dried it and detailed the interior. It took me almost 2 hours. Came in, took a shower and felt a lot better. Just do something you enjoy.
