Hello everyone,

I am currently completing a research project as part of my third year of university and am focusing on an idea which would help current students deal in terms of wellbeing. My idea will include the creation of a mood tracking app, which will allow users to track their mood in relation to what they have done that day, then potential mood triggers could be identified and challenged. It also would give an option for a student subscription box service, in which students could opt to receive a 'care package' of their choice on a monthly basis. Do you have any feedback for my idea? Do you think this would be beneficial for current students, given the extent that they have been neglected recently?

Thank you

Not trying to sound bad. But have we reached that stage in life were people need an App for everything? Might be a hit with people who live on their phones all day long. But there are others who, even though they might have anxiety, don't need an App to tell them why they are feeling like they do. Soon the whole of life will be controlled by Apps. When that happens we can say goodbye to life as we knew it. Just not a big fan of smart phones and all the things that come with them. I like to write. So give me a journal over an App any day of the week. Just my own opinion. I do love computers. Nothing against all that sort of stuff. Next we will need an App if we want to pee. :p

I agree 100% with Cuchculan. An App for this and an App for that. I am convinced the human brain was not deigned for all the information we have to take in these days. No wonder anxiety is on the increase. Years ago we had the radio and that was all.
We survived!! Used in moderation a local news app can be useful. But this raises the question, why do we get fixated on news? There is not a thing we can do about any of it. Most news bulletins are negative in their content. The old journalists' saying', good news is not news' applies. News has become an obsession with some people.
