So, we all know doctors know ALOT more medical things than us non doctors do. Would hypochondria be worse in them? They could have like two symptoms and automatically think they are dying. I could see this happening a lot.

I don't know about medical doctors, but there is actually something in Psychology Majors called Psych Student Syndrome.  This is where students, when studying various disorders in depth, begin to think that they have one or several mental illnesses.  This is a very real thing- I actually had this problem when I was getting my degree.  I imagine that medical students have the same problem, but again, I don't know.  There are a lot of things that people do in moderation that are normal, like sneezing, that, if they were excessive, look like a serious disorder.  So yes, this probably happens quite a bit.

I've heard that doctors are the worst patients but I never thought of them having hypochondria.  I bet it would make them especially paranoid because not only can they diagnose themselves but they are in an environment with a constant reminder of that sickness.  I think not only the knowledge but their work environment would make it worse.  The only thing is that they would have access to the stuff to test themselves and they  would know what the cure is for most diseases.  So it might be able so long as they remind themselves that they are doctors.  So it might be okay so long as they were optimistic but really I think it depends on the personality.

I truly believe this is the whole society in general. People start reading about things they see, and then start wondering about the symptoms they see in themselves. Then after reading some matches they think they got some disorder when really there is nothing wrong with them. That's my opinion, but this whole industry of disorders is not as legit as I would've wanted it to be. There are plenty of countries with millions of citizens that don't even have access to medication, where's their disorders?
