My friend wrote this on her Twitter page that said Always in between wanting to post a lot on social media & wanting to delete all socials & be like that person you went to school with that you think of randomly & hope they’re doing well.
Do you know what this mean?

Might simply be her way of saying she feels like she needs a break from life. Social media and all of that. At times people close down their accounts for a short while. Get away from it all. Her thoughts was if she was that person that people once knew, would you still think of her. Or would you simply forget about her once she was gone. Out of sight, out of mind. Wondering would people miss her and just move on and forget about her.

It seems really straight forward. On the one hand she wants to post a lot on social media. On the other, she thinks it might be nice to be like those people who don't use social media and you just remember who they are and vaguely hope they're doing okay (like how most people used to be with a lot more people than we are now). She hopes the people she loses touch with randomly remember her and hope the best for her.

I just explained that. If you are wondering if she is talking about a specific person, or a crush, she isn't. Everyone loses touch with people and think of those people randomly and hope they are doing well. She's likely just talking about a general phenomena.
