Dizziness worse

Not happy about this: since last night the dizziness is worse than it’s ever been: I am swaying , having to concentrate more so as to not bump into corners, and keeping to a wide path for the same latter reason. The tremor is worse too: feeling it in arms and legs and definitely in hands when I try to use them.
No big events going on today; just supposed to go for a walk with a friend in a couple of hours,
I am going to text my GP but I don’t know what he could do for me.
Very disturbed: it doesn’t feel like anxiety. :(

He mention two things: Ménière’s disease, and labyrinthitis. Neither of which seem to fit in with what I am experiencing. I am happy to say that today I feel much better. But he is still going to try and get me an appointment with a doctor of internal medicine because of all my dizziness and tingling symptoms. Apparently they are good at diagnosing things. But who knows how long that will take with Covid? All I know is I feel better today but my anxiety over having a heart attack (no real reason) today is out of this world - but subsiding as well.
How are you today?

Do you do any deep breathing, meditation or yoga? All supposed to be helpful. I’ve been recommended to try Jon Zabat Kinn. Just Checked on YouTube and most of the videos are fairly long but there are a couple that are 20 minutes or less. I’m going to check them out and will let you know how they go. :)
There are also a bunch of videos called “Yoga with Adriene” that seem to be quite good, and popular. She even has yoga for all kinds of purposes: https://m.youtube.com/results?sp=mAEA&search_query=yoga+with+adriene

I do cognitive therapy. It works well for me. Somedays it just isn't enough. I will look into the videos you mentioned. I play soft music and watch nature meditation videos as well

These all sound like great solutions. Today I’ve ended up going out to buy my dad a book (always feels nice to do something for someone else - for me at least). Picked up a decaf (!). Have managed to clean up some papers in my room, ate a healthy little lunch, and texted a lot with my bfriend today. All of this has helped; I’m very grateful. :)

So nothing found, eh? Sorry to hear that. So unsettling…
I had a better day today, even felt safe enough to take a shower.
but now I’m obsessing about heart attacks. Probably because I know that the stressors of the week start tomorrow. :(

No having found any resolution , sometimes it’s less and sometimes more . When it’s bad if I bend over and get up I feel like I’m going to pass out . It’s crazy to think it’s all anxiety I don’t know what to do anymore

Hi lotustree & danny how do you feel today ?
it’s weird because I feel the same symptoms, I’ve had good days and worse days, and get the same dizzy spells you mention, I find when I have to re focus my attention on certain things, or I get startled I get this lightheaded ness too, even when I turn or look somewhere else, I guess because I’m in a constant mega state of high alert or panic mode / fight or flight. The biggest trouble, is I focus on it so dam much and I think that prolongs it. Been driving me crazy, I been to the doctors twice, and put it down to anxiety, but re prescribed me pills to prevent the massive adrenaline spikes I tend to get, which also gives so many other symptoms (not the pills, the adrenaline) like IBS, feeling week, jelly legs, heart palpitations, tight chest feeling like I can’t breath, or take a full lung of air, pretty much everything else mentioned by this forum. Can you share more of your experiences? It really helps to hear your stories :(

Hey sorry to hear you are not feeling well. I have many of the same similar symptoms as you. The lightheadness is the worst by far. I go through each day just trying to get by. I hope one day to find a solutions but it’s been so long . My newest symptom is heavy legs all day. My legs feel weird I can’t explain it

Once again it is necessary to realise that there is nothing in regard to physical illness that anxiety can't imitate. It's a basic truth we all need to understand. Having been checked out and found to be OK, believe them. Dizziness is one of the worst symptoms of anxiety. To see your world spinning round is disheartening and downright frightening. The ears and eyes can be badly affected. In the ears are balancing mechanisms that keep us from falling over, You could liken them to a giro system in a machine. They can be badly affected by HA! Not everyone gets them.
It will come and go according to your mood. But it will go eventually if you don't panic when it happens.

It’s not crazy to think that it’s all anxiety. I’ve said it before and I truly believe it- accept it’s anxiety and you will be on your way to healing.
