Hello Friends
Id thought id touch on an issue that is the blight of many of our health anxiety "Death!"
Much of health anxiety leads to thoughts of Death.
I can tell you accepting death is healthy
Lately I've accepted it as a health mindset and have no issues with HA currently.
Last year i dealt with a unknown health issue and thought I had bladder cancer.
Nope just cpps/chronic pelvic pain syndrome finally after months of doctor visits finally an answer.
One thing I can guarantee everyone here in a 100 years will be gone.
If we let death and HA take our minds hostage than whats the point of living if we are in bondage and slaves to anxiety?
It can be now, tomorrow or the future if its my time to go big deal just means ill go home to be with my lord and savior Jesus Christ.

Hi. Personally I think having a faith is very important and I find it defo helps to lower anxiety. As for death being all around us, that is true. Im a Sikh and we believe that our death is already preordained before we are born. The funny thing is I believe that 100 percent but i think i must lack faith. Else i wouldnt have HA.

Not a person of faith here, but I've learned to accept death nonetheless. I still struggle with it from time to time, as we all do, but it doesn't have a hold of me like it used to. I don't sit up late every night, absolutely terrified of the mere thought of it.

It's definitely important to practice acceptance, that's a key in overcoming (health) anxiety as a whole. Whether it's intrusive thoughts about death, or about our health in general. We have to accept the uncertainties in life, as well as the inevitable. Only then can we start regaining control of our lives.

Death comes with life. A Buddhist, from an early age, learns to accept death as part of life. They don't fear death. Not saying they want to die. They don't. Just like the rest of us. When they do die, the body is kept in a house for about 30 days. To let the soul fly free. Then the body is fed to the vultures. As it has no more importance to them. They believe they will come back again. Maybe not as another person. Could be an animal.

Native Americans have similar beliefs. Could see many lives. Could be a tree in one life. A rock in another life. In other words everything everything around them is sacred and part of life. But death is also part of that same life.

I think the band Pink Floyd sum things up in a few songs. the person running, trying to catch up with the sun. Only to see it coming up behind him again. Another day has passed. And he now one day closer to death. The older he gets the shorter the days seem to him.

Nobody wants to die. But it is always the end result.

death is a natural part of life whether we believe it or not. it is very important to have faith especially in the times of anxiety. God gives us the strength to power thru- well at least in my case. Having faith is half of the battle, wanting to get better and doing things about it is the half of it. together god can give you greater results than you were expecting .

I am a Christian but good friends with many Muslims who have called me brother.
You must understand there is a God who loves us, we within ourselves cannot understand how deeply because we're human.
Let go and know that we are all imperfect but God's love is unconditional!

You have to let it go.
Because it changes nothing
Yesterday you worried did you prevent anything?
We have zero ability to control anything but what goes on in our brain.
Just remember a time something happened bad or good that was a surprise.
It was out of our hands.

Yep, that's at the root of anxiety for a lot of people. Whether it's health anxiety or not. We tend to worry about things beyond our control, we worry about things that we have no way to control. That's where learning and practicing acceptance comes in.

The American writer and humorist, Mark Twain, once wrote, "The only difference between a man and a chicken is a man knows there's an ax." Not to make light of our struggles with HA, but Twain nailed it!

Anxiety is all about fear. Fear of death, fear of suffering, or fear of pain. No matter your fear, it creates anxiety. When my son was a small boy, all of a sudden he was afraid to go outside. After racking our brain, his father and I realized what he was afraid of. It was the fear of the trees blowing in the wind. We took him over to the tree to show him how beautiful the tree was and that it was not going to hurt him. After that he was able to go outside and play again. Paying no attention to blowing trees. I say all of that to say, when we identify our fears, they will no longer have you in bondage. Fear is inevitable. It is the reaction to fear that determines how you view the beauty of what life has for us. Anxiety will rob you of it all. There is so much beauty to embrace - your children, your grandchildren, your friends, and yes your spouse. We have no control over anything. We can't worry fear away and we definitely don't control sickness. None of us have known anyone to worry themselves well. We are all going to die of something. Why not live for something. I continue to live with anxiety, but it has not control over me. I see the beauty in everything and that drastically overrides the perils of death. Don't react to fear, instead put into motion your actions to embrace life, the beauty in it and the freedom for you!
God bless you all because I know anxiety and what it does. But I will not give up on any of you. You CAN have the victory and eventually you WILL.
Be safe!

I am afraid of where that may lead you. Fear has a signicant impact.
