I have been busy with work and I lost my computer a while back, but it has been repaired so I can swing by a bit more often now. I am happy to see the close bonds and positive vibes of this place with everybody genuinely caring and supporting each other.

Thank you so much Lukas, I am still celebrating as well! I'm seeing my mum next week for a birthday lunch and an old friend in the next few days for a birthday drink. I didn't do muych on the day, but I did eat loads of cake and plonk and I was happy to be with my dogs.

Have I asked you when is it you are getting married and what kind of ceremony are you going to have? I love weddings. It is just so meaningful when two people declare their love for each other and make promises in front of witnesses. Have you sorted out your attire yet?

We're getting married on Thanksgiving actually, my family doesn't celebrate Thanksgiving because we're from Poland and it's an American holiday. It probably seems like a pretty random day to get married lol but we picked it because it's a significant date here.
It's going to be a small ceremony with just friends and family, and I'm going to wear a white suit and my fiance is going to wear something more traditional.

At the moment I'm kind of upset because my friend pointed out that my fiance may be a narcissist This is like the worst time ever for something like that to come up. I made a separate thread about it because I'm really anxious.

I've been really busy with work and school and wedding plans and stuff, but I just wanted to check in and see how everyone is doing. I'll try to be on here more often.

Always good to hear from you I have been doing a lot of knitting and crocheting,i make hats,scarves,headbands ,slippers and afghans I give them to the church every xmas ,I love doing it and they have a sale here iN November so I also make stuff for that.I don't mind it also keeps me busy and it makes me feel like I accomplished something.
Didnt sleep at all last night on top of that i spilled my hot coffee all over me this morning,i hope this isnt going to be a bad day.

Oh lord. I went through stuff like this before I got married. Let me ask you this. Does your fiance make you feel bad about yourself to make himself feel better... I think not. I don't know your fiance but, from what I hear he seems like a good guy. One thing you must realize, there are going to be people in your life that's going to try to put some type of doubt in your mind before the big day. When I was a child ... I had a narcissistic father and believe me. .. if your fiance was a narcissist. .. you'd know it. One thing that has stuck out from what you have told us about your fiance is the fact that he was so protective when you were at emergency room. This man loves you. And a narcissist. .... only loves himself. Don't let people put doubt in your mind... he sounds like he 's the one.

I have been quite busy myself as well lately.
My partner and I just moved into our first own flat, two weeks ago. Last week we were on holiday in Valencia (booked it before we knew that we would move)
Now we have come back to a half finished flat. We need to finish unpacking and get used to just being us together and find an equilibrium.
It does not feel like home yet, but I hope it will come soon.

Well guys that's what's going on at the moment.

I don't mean to be nasty about your friend but it isn't very nice what she has said. As a friend, she should be there for you if you need her, but it seems to me that she has said this to throw a spanner in the works. Her actions could actually be taken as narcissistic! It is a cruel thing to say when you are about to marry. Surely you know your fiance, and you can live with him very well whatever it is that he is like. Your friend has made comments that have made you become judgemental of your fiance. Why on earth would she point out his bad points other than to coax you away from this marriage?

You are an adult @_Lukas and I am sure that you know both your mind and your heart. Loving someone is putting up with the good and the bad, and his egotism isn't really that bad is it? He doesn't sound overly selfish because of his fierce loyalty towards you. He loves you and that is what matters at the end of the day, and of course how you get on together.

I hope you try to dismiss what your friend has said and tell her not to speak that way of your nearest and dearest again. Don't be anxious and look forward to your wedding and all the wonderful times you will share afterwards with your lives together.

Hi it wasn't to bad I did manage to sit outside for about three hours and today I was out there for four hours that is because my neighbor came outside to talk to me.I take my knitting outside with me.There are two cats that come and visit us every once in awhile,I live in senior housing.I think the cats love it here.

When you first met your fiance, you may well have noticed these points about his character. The thing is, maybe you found those things attractive in him? Maybe, his 'out of himself' personality made you feel alive. He actually sounds like a great guy.

Maybe your friend needs a bit of reassurance that you will still be her friend after you marry. Perhaps she is feeling insecure and fears to lose your friendship.

I try to do my bests it makes me feel good that I can do this,people out there need help so I try to help them.
I am alright i sat outside get this for four hours yesterday and another three this morning,it is cold out there but i have my long sleeve shirt on,kind of windy too,I actually hated to come inside ,cause I get so bored,.Last night i had to take a klonopin and a busrpine to help me get to sleep i only got about three hours worth,once I wake up I just cannot go back to sleep.Waiting for my friend to come going to watch Xena today. I'm glad you are well @XmasCarol52 and that you have been able to sit outside for a while. When we don't feel like going out because of agoraphobia, having a quiet place to sit outside can be a Godsend!
