What Have You To Feel Blessed For Today?

The sun has just risen and it threw a golden hue across the sky. It was so amazing to see as it began to get light. I walked through to the front of my house and looked out the back window and my heart skipped a beat when I saw a rainbow. It was truly beautiful against the backdrop of the red sky. It made me feel really blessed.

What have you to feel blessed for today?

I am blessed everyday to have a son who knows how to comfort me and make me smile. I've lost my favorite cat recently and I was depressed and melancholic the whole week. My son gently touched my head and spoke about how I feel. It was like he was able to read my mind and say exactly what I wanted to say without me saying a word about it. I cried when I heard it from him and crying gave me some relief. He hugged me as I cried and it was just the sweetest moment.

I'm sorry you lost your cat recently. It is never a good thing to lose a pet but isn't it wonderful how it brought about that intimate moment with your son. It is something I bet you will always remember.
