Hello.
From what I understand anxiety can originate from many things genetics or environment.
Not sure where mine came from I just remember one day it was there.
High school in 97 it just popped into my life and been here for a while now.
At first I didn't know what it was but I had a constant fear of the unknown and worry.
I have had many traumatic experience in my life and the imagination is worse then just about anything that life has thrown my way, even when my mother committed suicide.

I get that about the imagination. Mine causes more grief than I feel I can bear at times.

I definitely believe anxiety can be genetic plus one’s environment plays a major role either inducing it or helping keep it at bay.

Do you deal with it daily?

Sorry about your mother.

Ended up under a car at about 16 yrs old. Was fine for a few years. Then a close friend died in a car crash. Brought everything back. I would panic when out and near roads. Cars and the likes. That was many years ago. Has changed so much over the years.

I deal with it way less now that I'm back on hormones for low testosterone.
I went off them after many years.
To be honest it was the scariest time in my life.
Panic attacks and axiety with depression bad.
Are you feeling ok?

Man that is quite scary.
But on a side note the self driving cars and
Features seem to be making cars safer.
I read somewhere in the not so distant future cars on the road will decline by a large margin thanks to public transportation.

I’m glad that has brought some relief.

I’m feeling...alright. Anxiety uses a lot of energy and brain power. I appreciate you asking.

My anxiety was partly caused by past trauma in my life, as well as psychiatric medications that I used to be on. These pills made my anxieties worse, between 2001-2009.

Since then, I've been put on psych meds which have calmed me down a great deal, however.

What is your take on marijuana?
Many people I spoke to think it works well.
I tried it and thought the cops were coming every 5 minutes peaking through the blinds.
Ps I live in Colorado so its legal and anxiety still didn't get that.

The awful, miserable, depressing city I live in is a big contributor to my anxiety. Picking the wrong college, the wrong major, staying a job that was horrible in every way for far too long, being naive and close minded as a teen and young adult...just to name a few.
