As a health anxiety sufferer and mom of 6 several times a day my kids come to me complaining of aches, Pains and bruises. I always say your fine go play. I don't give it second thought. Why do I not worry about their health I think and just mine? Maybe it's because their young? Maybe it's because I can't feel the pain? I know some people have no health anxiety about themselves but they are obsessive over their kids health instead. My kid could be bleeding from the head and I would still say go put a band aid on it and you'll be good.

I freak out over my kids and wifes health as well. Basically I'm kinda sad and really only live for my family so it makes sense I would freak out over their health as well.

O that post made me sad. I'm just trapped in my own thoughts. Can't imagine being worried about everyone else's. It just never makes me nervous because I feel like they are fine. I don't want them to be like this so I never speak of health in a negative way. Your wife and kids are lucky to have you

I also can't imagine being worried about everyone else's health, especially when I'm already worried about my own. I have the same approach you do, telling them they're fine and to go play. There have been a few instances when my fiancee had things that worried me in the past, but it wasn't nearly as severe as when I worry about my own health.

I don't have health anxiety but I do have GAD. I don't give much thought to my own health but agonize over the health and well-being of both my wife and kids. Jgriffin, I know you have the opposite situation as me but I don't have a cure or even advice, for either of us.
