Managed to get out yesterday. Short walk. Back home to listen to some music. Got a good few CDs for Christmas. Opened another jigsaw. So will work on that one over the next week or so. Got a rather odd gift ftom my Nephew. The Jamanji board game. Think he bought it for himself but had no idea of the rules of the game. I watched a video on you tube explaining the rules. Complicated. But if you keep at it, you will get the hang of it. Is not a one player game. So no idea what I am meant to do with it. Maybe learn the rules. Explain them to my nephew and offer him the game back. :p

Yesterday I got new brakes and rotors for my car, and my wife picked up my Christmas present: two Thomas Kinkade paintings.

Out for a good while yesterday. Then some more jigsaw building. Just getting the outside pieces sorted. Shoulf be an interesting build. Nine horses running through water. All the same colour. Add the sky and the water to that. i shall drive myself even more crazy.

This morning I had a lot of snow shoveling to do. In the afternoon, I watched some TV. Now I'm hoping to be able to stay awake to see 2019 get taken over by 2020.

Slept through the night last night. Up early as ever. Police helicopter flying over the area at about 6.30am. I am sure I will find out why later. Normally it can be be a shooting or a robbery. But not many places to rob on New Year's eve. If it was bad it will be on the news later. Jigsaw making as ever. More trying to sort the sky and water out for now. You can expect slow progress. As all the pieces look the same bloody colour. Was out yesterday. Picked up some CDs. Have a bit of a cough. Nothing too bad. Think everybody has it at the moment over here. Glad to see the back of 2019.

Does anyone else have trouble not knowing what to do with themselves on holidays? I really struggle on a day like today because everything is closed, work/school are out, and the anxiety doesn't let me rest and relax. I just sort of wade through the day in a panic, waiting for it to end.

That is why I have a hobby. Great on days like this. Maybe you should find one.

Yep, I need one. I used to do stuff like that, but I'm usually so tired at the end of the work day, and I have a small child, and I have just kind of stopped doing it. I need to find something that works for me...

I sure have that feeling sometimes. I was pretty happy with how most of my holidays went this year. I was actually able to relax and enjoy being with my kids and family. That's in big contrast to how I was feeling around Thanksgiving; I'm very thankful that my symptoms gave me some respite for a while.

That's amazing! So glad to hear it. I had a great holiday season last year, so I guess I just hit the jackpot this year. Lol

@Cuchculan today my little boy woke up and said, 'I'M GONNA DO EVERY PUZZLE I HAVE TODAY!!!' and it make me think of you. Hahahahaha He wants me to help, but I have to work. I should send him over ...

He's on number four right now. Of course, these are 48 piece puzzles. ;)

Today I got my blood test over with. I have to see the phlebotomist at a community health center once per month because I'm on a drug called Clozaril. They have to check my white blood cell count.

Took down Christmas decorations yesterday. Only up for less than 2 weeks. As neither of us in the house are too pushed about such things. The weather was not the best yesterday. So had time to work on my jigsaw. Listen to music at the same time. Just have to sort out a lot of horses in the jigsaw. All the same colour. Am in no real hurry at all.

Will you come take mine down?? I hate the packing up. Lol maybe I'll just keep watering this tree until next year and see if it lasts...

Today I have a doctor's appt and am starting back in therapy for the first time in a long time. Back to back. It's a lot to bite off at once.

I worked at the farm today. I worked in the cellar. It was cold down there. Fortunately I was dressed in many layers. So it wasn't a problem for me.

I was going to go to a local library this morning. However, the weather didn't cooperate.

Finished my jigsaw of the horses running through water. After I had been out and bought a few books to read.

Today I've spent most of the day watching NFL playoff games on TV.

I also recorded last night's Patriots/Titans game, as I had to go to bed at halftime. I was too exhausted to stay up any later. I watched the second half of the game this morning. Unfortunately for me, the Patriots lost.

I actually went to an arcade with my kid today! I had some leftover okay cards from a work event, so we drove race cars and fought dinosaurs and played skee-ball. Since I was struggling so much over the holidays, I was pretty proud of myself for making it today.
