Vaccine?

I am scheduled for a Covid vaccine next week. I’m just not sure if it’s the right decision. My anxiety is through the roof! I’m certainly terrified of Covid, but I’m also equally as concerned about the effects of the vaccine. I have anaphylaxis but also long-term effects are still unknown. Would you take the vaccine when it’s your turn?

I got both doses of Pfizer and only had a little bit of foot itching. I didn't even have a sore arm.

Thank you for sharing! I appreciate the feedback. I am scheduled for Moderna.

That's similar - an mRNA vaccine. I've read that mRNA vaccine technology is well suited to rapidly responding to emerging viral variants. They were actually able to develop these vaccines in about a month. The safety testing took a long time.

I would ask which would you prefer, Covid or a vaccine? Think it is a bit of a no brainer by way of a choice. But a lot of people are a bit worried about vaccines. Normal reaction to such things. Might help you out come the end of the day.

They are going to have vaccine passports for you to go to public places. I don't think it's right but the safety nazis are good at using fear to control us.

Your fear of Covid is based on a rational thought process. Your fear of the vaccine is based on an irrational thought process. Choose reason.

Not completely irrational, because I’ve experienced anaphylaxis to injectable medication. But I do understand your point.

10 cases per 1 million doses of Pfizer. Vaccines are still the rational choice.
