Jemina said:Thanks, I will have to look into those. Always looking for new music (Privus is the one on there I haven't heard before, love the other 2 though). Not at all bothered by it not being in English, assuming the lyrics are still ok. When not in English (used to be a huge Rammstein fan), I look up what the song is talking about and decide from there if it is acceptable to listen to or not). For me' date=' Christian Rock is my go-to music when I am down. It helps me out to listen to music that is religious, but that doesn't focus on the "happy" side of religion. Even devoutly religious people have issues in life and life isn't always good. Bands like Red, Disciple, Ashes Remain, and Skillet help to carry me through. Best song choices for me: Ashes Remain - On My Own, Skillet - Monster, Disciple - Dear X, You don't own me.[/quote']
Disciple - "Dear X, You Don't Own Me" is one that I love to listen to as well! It's a great song for making me feel better, especially given that the music has quite an upbeat sound to it.
Some songs that I like to listen to that I find more inspirational and uplifting more because of the fast beat of the song are:
Pvris - "Fire"
Rise Against - "Kotov Syndrome"
Finger Eleven - "Paralyzer"
And if you're not bothered by if it's all in English or not, I also quite like One OK Rock's "Clock Strikes". It's partly in Japanese though.
