And I get all sorts of skin sensations, including tingling. It's anxiety.

I agree with Doug, it's most likely just anxiety! Has anything happened lately to make you feel more anxious? When I'm reaaaaaally bad my fingers get pins and needles, but it's just my lil heart pumping overtime, haha.

Hi @Doug97
Thanks for your reply. Yes I had read it. I just seem to be bent on freaking out right now. It bothers me that it seems to happen most on the side of the first vaccine - why mostly just one side? Got 2nd one, different one, in left side, with no issues.
I do have to admit that I have been going through great stressful issues in life lately.

It's got nothing to do with the vaccine, if you had any reaction to it, it wouldn't affect just one side of the body. That's not how the body works, the vaccine enters your bloodstream and circulates to every part.

The fact that it's on the side of the vaccine and you're fixated on that just confirms to me that it's psychosomatic.

I get most of my symptoms on the right side, I think just because it's my dominant side, it gets the brunt of it. It won't be anything to do with your vaccine.

I find that when I can't control other aspects of my life, I hyperfixate on things like this. I can't solve those other issues, so I become hellbent on trying to solve my twitches, which usually results in assuming I have a horrid disease. We're just anxious :) one day we'll wonder wtf we were doing, haha.

The more I worry about my twitching, the more I twitch. And the more I worry about my skin sensations, the worse they get. When I have a panic attack, they suddenly spread from my legs to my whole body, including my face. It's like turning on a light.

Yes I feel very silly when I think back to my previous health scare episodes. The worst one I had was 15 years ago when I had a nervous breakdown over HA that meant I was off work for 7 months. First I had sarcoidosis, then Wegener's granulomatosis, then amyloidosis. Only I didn't have any disease at all - except I did of course, it was a mental condition.

Broken record here: upon waking today; more tingling in right toes and under foot, and outer right calf and under same, right hand, some in left calf now too, under both butt cheeks, and upper right arm feels weird too, maybe upper left arm too. And left outer hand. Just scared because tingling seems to be spreading.
I know what you’ll all probably say - I’m just scared because it seems to be spreading. :(
Also having a problem walking: I tend to drag my feet and ive had a couple of falls yearly for the last three falls, but it might have happened because of curbs. I have to push myself to walk distances, my legs feel tired. But I can even walk up to over 10k steps. I try to walk carefully. And have to go up and down stairs slowly.
please help - I hate feeling this scared. :(

Hey LotusTree

If having a couple of falls a year is a bad sign, we're all fooked, haha! I wouldn't worry too much about that, people trip up all the time, especially over curbs etc, when your subconscious isn't used to the change in height. If you're walking over 10k steps most of the time without incident, you're a-okay!

My tingling has gotten really bad lately too, in a lot of the same places! Tingles and twitches in my left foot, both calves, buttcheeks, right upper arm, left hand, all over basically, but I'm 99% sure it's due to inactivity, I've been so inactive whilst laid up with covid, so trying to move around a bit more now, done 20 mins on my exercise bike earlier just to do something.

I've also made an appointment with a psychotherapist for tomorrow, as my anxiety has been atrocious the past week, and it's definitely contributing. Do you notice these symptoms when you're busy? Sometimes when I'm out and about I don't even register anything, which let's me know my anxiety definitely makes it a bigger issue than it physically is.

Hope you feel better soon, you're not alone in this x

Thank you so much @AriaRen :)
We are most probably symptom twins. I ‘m actually very inactive myself, lying in my bed often hiding from the heavy responsibilities in my life with an elderly parent. Today I’m avoiding ordering groceries and am watching my soap. :(
I know I need to up my activity level maybe if only to start a bit of yoga.
You’re right about not noticing these things while busy.
thx again.
Gonna talk to my doctor as I do weekly too.
Oh so insensitive of me: how are you doing with the Covid?
Wishing you a speedy recovery.

I'm exactly the same, no symptoms at all when I'm out walking the dog. I try to focus on that fact, that I'm obviously fit and healthy otherwise I wouldn't be able to do it! Walked 12,000 steps today, didn't even feel tired at the end of it. It's only when I stop and lie down to rest that suddenly I can feel all these weird sensations. I know my brain is generating them, there's nothing actually wrong with my skin and muscles. I've found an app called Curable that's helping me so much.
