Those are hard to diagnose, especially as a woman. Got triggered once more at the hands of tiktok. It seems as if I look for this stuff but I don't. I really don't. Its just apart of tiktok and any media I choose to ingest
However I did. It was talking about autoimmune disorders being misdiagnosed in women and then saying that a sign of a thyroid disorder was missing the last portion of your eyebrow. Seems completely random then I got to thinking and worrying. My eyebrows seem normal. But I've never liked the way they've grown in. They don't go in a perfect arch,. Its like a mix of the first part being normal and the latter portion being not as normal. Eyebrow is below for reference.
I'm just so so afraid. What if its all just an autoimmune disorder. I have allergies and eczema and gerd. What if I end up just having all these conditions and being a ticking time bomb. I'm just.. so fearful yet I can't cry so I'm just wallowing silently.

Take a break from social media and the news. Start off with an hour or two (when you normally would be on social media, don’t count if you’re at work or school), then day, then two. I think you’ll find you aren’t triggered by things nearly as much. Most of what you post starts off with I read, I saw, I watched…and all these things put fear and worry into your life unnecessarily. I’m not saying your anxiety is going to go away, but these triggers you experience will drastically decrease. Instead of watching videos on YouTube or TikTok, go for a walk or listen to music. Find something else to occupy your time and you will start to feel better.

I mean, thyroid disease is completely manageable. If it were to be that.

I have to delete tik tok and I’ve also had to block news websites on my phone to stop myself looking at them. I get triggered even when I think it’s not going to happen. I never know what it’s going to be until I’m already deep in to it and can’t find my way back to normal thinking.

It’s easy to say to delete social media, but I just tried it last week and it lasted a day- ha! Have you been to a neurologist or rheumatologist? It might help you to have them officially run labs and other non-invasive tests to help eliminate your worry. I do have an autoimmune disease and it helps me when I get labs and can talk to my doctor.

I can try. My insurance seldom covers "specialty" doctors. Even though it's basic treatment. I have a lot of bills coming up so I just can't afford another.
