At first I thought it was because in recent weeks, I've been laying on that arm on the couch and resending resumes, so perhaps I'm putting pressure on that arm and hand by putting all my weight on it. But Eric said the same thing - he thought he was typing or texting too much. What a devasting disease. I'm sorry for him. all I want is to be healthy. I hope the weakness in my hand that ive been experiencing recently is just nothing. now i'm spiraling..help..ive been doing so well.

When I had a struggle with ALS I had a doctor ask me “is it weak or does it feel like it’s weak”. That helped me a lot as it turned around in my head the following weeks. It felt like weakness but when I tested it compared to my other arm, there was no strength difference. I still think about that when the anxiousness creeps back into my mind. I hope you’re doin ok

That makes sense. No strength difference. Now anxiety has crept up around something else…
