I discovered I like Vodka with Apple Juice. This can't be good.

Yeah I find benzos similar to booze, although without the 'happy' feeling. I just feel more tired and just.. meh..Come to think about it... doesn't ativan pretty much get you drunk?
Gosh yeah, been there, done that, bought the t-shirtYep @Rinka . With a vengeance. Lol
Yep. Good point. Ugh.Yeah I find benzos similar to booze, although without the 'happy' feeling. I just feel more tired and just.. meh..
My thoughts take me down the healthy thinking route. It is enough that I suffer from mental illness without having my liver conk out. Alcohol is not the answer to feeling better. Relying on booze to boost the brains happy cells won't work forever, it is only a short term fix. Then each time you drink excessively you damage your liver a little bit more. I would much rather rely on the doctor to give me pills or therapy to overcome the mental problem than living a life of throwing up and head spins.Mixing alcohol with medication isn't a great idea. Even though I like the odd drink, it's more about addiction and why you drink. I only drink with a meal on social occasions now, but people who drink to make themselves feel better are going down a dark path. It makes the pain go for a while, but it isn't the answer long term.
That’s sounds like my dad as well. The scary thing is I think I’m going down the same path..I’m too young to drink so I don’t know any good combos. XD please be careful, though. My dad has always had anxiety and he’s an really mean alcoholic because he would drink to take he edge off and it worked a little too well...
Totally feel you on that. Just have to try and find something else to keep you occupied because alcohol isn’t the way to go^^ good advice there. I’m sorry about your brother![]()
I hope I can stop soon, I’m 27 and just can’t stop drinking in the evenings to relax. It used to be I was always in control, now it feels like I need the alcohol instead of want it which is quite scary. And I can’t seem to relax without it!
