Hi, I’m a 61 yr old woman and I’m really mixed up about what’s wrong with me .. this is all quite new to me .
im also living in Spain with poor communication skills so it’s very difficult really talking things through with my GP ..
I do tend to get very anxious about various things for what seems like no reason at all, but more than often it’s my health . I’ve been on blood pressure pills for years without even a blip and have over the years managed to feel really calm about it.
suddenly last week I had a massive spike in the levels , with nausea, shaking, everything, clear out of the blue. A&E were lovely and settled me down with an extra dose, and my gp has doubled my dose now.
but my bp isn’t settling, completely.
now I’m having inner shakes, nausea, and breathlessnes on and off all day. I think it’s anxiety .. does this sound familiar ..

It does sound like anxiety. I have experienced all of that. Obviously stress levels could cause BP to increase. Stress does all kinds of crazy things sometimes. Health? That’s probably an anxious persons’ biggest worry.
