Its probably been close to 10 years since i have had one. I was scrolling and noticed i was seeing blurry type spots , thought an area on my phone was messed up. It was somewhere between blurry and there and not there... I remember reading that a lot of time these completely take away your peripheral vision...which happened during my 1st one...talk about freaking out! This wasnt necessarily in my peripheral but i believe was moving around. It also seemed brightness made it more evident. No real headache came from it but the elevator head feeling that happens from med withdrawl showed up.

During the episode I did my walking that I do when having a panic attack. It didnt cause a full blown attack but it was probably close. I also have vision in one eye only from an accident lol...

I haven't neccesarily felt any particular insane anxiety but as we know it could be suppressed. None the less wanted to share my experience...

Is anxiety a large culprit when it comes to these?

A huge culprit! They can come out of the blue and, to use a current term, there are variants, so it’s totally normal that this one differed from your other one.

With the head pressure and elevator feeling in my head today...is that likely from the migraine?

I only ask because i have gotten sinus/colds/flu deals and i have experienced the vertigo elevator head. I've read up on migraines and it seems i could be experiencing the actual migrwine or after migraine now. My body temps kind of feel off and i felt a slight "burning" at top of mouth when lying down. Just trying to keep my anxiety at bay.

EB, Sounds like scintillating scotoma. Look it up when you get a chance. I've experienced it a couple times, it's nerve-wracking. And it can be triggered by stress. Peace

Migraines are so horrible! They last a lot longer than people think too.. I always used to try to describe how I would get a 'migraine hangover' the day after the headache... then one day I dound this image, and felt like it explained everything!

Also made me realise some things were connected to my migraines, that I previously thought were just random... like sometimes I would pee a lot, and always thought maybe I just drank extra that day, but since seeing this I started to connect the dots, and have realised that there are warnings a day or so before the aura starts. I always get a massive wave of euphoria a day or so after the headache went away and always thought it was just because I was glad to feel better.. but seems thats connected too!
