I've not been doing so well. I have another therapy assessment tomorrow. At first, it was at half one in the afternoon, and now they have changed it to a morning appointment. So I have had to re-think what time to get the bus. Someone is going with me so it isn't too bad. I'm a bit of a nervous wreck about it though and I'm not looking forward to it. @Concernedgal has a great idea! What about advertising for a roommate? Even if you can't have a roommate, how about advertising for a companion friend, I mean one to go out with to these places that you used to go with you Husband?

my friend works part time for companions and homemakers,if it comes to that I may get into that companions are expensive here,oh i hear what you are saying about the bus I wont take one mainly because It is hard enough for me to walk, ugh my friend says she can take me when she works but at a certain time like 10 but then if it takes more then a half hour she has to leave me at the doctors office ugh she will pick me up when i am done, god only know how long of a wait that could be i heard of people waiting for two hours waiting to get picked up,A friend of mine was this was actually her idea, whenever one of us have to go someone we pretend that person i swith us so I pretend that Ellen is with me it helps some, all I can see is her holding my hand making me smile she is the ellen on here and i do the same for her so pretend I am with you when u go,

Really. I have a therapy assessment too. At 3:30 today. They are not going to like this but, I took 1 paxel it made me feel well... no right and then I stopped. They won't like hearing that. I wonder what my diagnosis of the month will be this time. Will it be severe depression, bipolar depression or the latest .. bipolar disorder. What will it be this month? Aren't they the professionals, shouldn't they know what my ailment is?

Honey they dont know a thing even my shrink didnt even know what agoraphobia was,Ya he wanted me to take a cab go all the way out to New London which is a good 45 minute ride just to see him so i could get my pills I had to explain to him I cannot do that you want to know what his responds was ,why not,I said duh I have agoraphobia then he says what is that? Had to explain that to him as well,I never went I am not going that far just so they can see me to give me my meds so I made it on my time and my terms ,it is a stupid law u have to see the doctor in a certain amount of time or they will not give u your meds,I think most likely they just want to see green. Wanna make a bet the people that make up these crazy laws never had to deal or had problems with going to the doctors.. I do not like doctors, I just dont trust them i even had one call me a liar only about a year ago,,he was such a jerk

Have you changed medication or are you getting off of a medication? Have you been purposely holding back your anger? Any of those things could cause you to shake nervously. Because the obvious reason is your stress and anxiety. I personally never had the shakes" knock on wood" lol. But, I get this thing where I feel like my throat is tight. I hate it , it's weird. I'm glad that you were able to step out of your comfort zone today. You always have that awesome feeling of accomplish. I love it. And your self esteem goes up a bit. I'm really happy for you. Keep it up. I wish I had your courage . I can't even go farther than my work and that's 15 minutes away. Any farther.. And it's major anxiety. It's not that I don't trust my husband driving,, I just feel a sense of claustrophobia. Keep me posted . Kinda worried about your shaking situation.

I signed up with this forum just to communicate with you, Christmas Carol. First of all, I hope you are feeling less anxious, and that you're getting the care you need. If you're not - I think you may have built a serious tolerance to your benzodiazepine. I've been there. It's a terrifying feeling. Please let me know how you are doing now. If you're still on the benzo I can perhaps help you get off of it safely. I have some books I can send you. (I saved them to help someone else). Or I can tell you what steps you can take right here on this forum. Just know that if you are dependent upon benzos, you can get better.

If you are anxious for other reasons, I sure hope you get better soon. Anxiousness - the kind where you feel like crawling out of your skin - is a horrible feeling!

I wish there was something I could suggest to help you relax that would work Carol. I kind of know what you mean about your head. My head is going around in circles and I can't make it quiet. The noisy mind is hell to live inside. There is no peace at all.

My dogs help me to think of other things sometimes, but all the rubbish is still in there.

When taking otc sleeping pills .. use caution especially when taking anti anxiety medication. Because you never know. You finally got a full nights sleep and i'm happy for you but, it's going to take more than one nig ht of sleep for you to recover after all that time of not sleeping well. And another thing... some otc sleep medication may make you fall asleep but, it's all about the quality. How are you today? Seems to be decelent here today huh? I have to go get a cardiac ultrasound on the 20th... I hope that goes well. Sure hope there's no damage. I don't need anything else in my life. But, I suppose everybody has there problems huh?

Hey, wait! Don't go taking counter meds without your doctor's approval! You don't know if these meds are compatible with the meds that you are on already. You don't have to go to your doctor to ask, you can telephone them instead.

It is great that you got a good nights sleep, and tell your doctor that. But before taking any more, check first that they will be okay!

My prayers are with you for this check up @Concernedgal I really want you to take things easy and try to not let things get to you. Keep a check on your anxieties. What I mean is, if being in a car for longer than a quarter hour makes you anxious, then don't do it. Don't put yourself in a situation where it might be dangerous for yourself. Take it easy. Good luck for Thursday!

It's makes matter worst that I have an increased chance for a heart attack during a panic attack. My doctor told me that You can't talk yourself through a heart palpitation. You know.. She's got a good point too. You might can talk yourself through hyperventilation or maybe even dizziness but, a heart palpation. .. I don't think so. And nobody on my family" at the exception of you guys".. knows what it's like to battle your whole life . To fight against simple tasks such as going to the store, going swimming and even being there for your loved ones when they need you. Does it hurt? Yes. But, sometimes you feel as though there is little to nothing that you can do about it. Maybe if I get on the right medication though things will be ok again and I can at least attempt to live my life once more. Have you ever taken beta blockers? They want me to but, I'm afraid to take them . Should I ? Will something bad happen to me if I don't need them?
